For personal data that we actually receive and process, the entity above acts as the data controller.

This Policy applies to:

• the LOVODEX mobile application for iOS and Android;
• lovodex.com and its associated support and legal pages;
• support communications;
• public LOVODEX editorial and audiobook delivery;
• communications directly related to the operation of LOVODEX.

It does not govern Apple, Google, your device manufacturer, your cloud-storage provider, or other third-party services you independently choose to use. Those providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies.

Depending on how you use LOVODEX, you may enter information such as:

• names or initials of people;
• relationship status;
• how or where you met;
• dates and interactions;
• who initiated an interaction;
• notes and factual context;
• recorded feelings;
• status changes;
• reflections;
• Your Wiring responses and results;
• Aftermath notes;
• reading and listening progress;
• bookmarks;
• downloaded-content information.

This information is stored locally on your device in encrypted application storage.

We do not receive, upload, inspect or remotely analyze the private dating-record content you enter into LOVODEX.

There is no LOVODEX account and no LOVODEX cloud database containing your private dating history.

LOVODEX does not send your private records to an AI service.

LOVODEX does not use AI to:

• analyze people you record;
• score relationships;
• identify “red flags”;
• determine compatibility;
• diagnose attachment styles or personality;
• predict relationship outcomes;
• recommend whether you should date or leave someone.

Features such as Notices and Receipts operate from deterministic product logic applied locally to information you have recorded.

LOVODEX keeps the record. You decide what it means.

Notices

Notices identify factual patterns that meet predefined local rules, such as repeated events or recorded interaction patterns. A Notice is not a diagnosis, judgment, risk score or prediction.

The Receipt

The Receipt summarizes factual information you entered into the app.

Your Wiring

Your Wiring is a non-clinical self-reflection tool based on five independent dimensions. It does not produce:

• a medical or psychological diagnosis;
• an attachment-style diagnosis;
• a personality type;
• a compatibility result;
• an overall “relationship score.”

These features are processed locally.

LOVODEX allows you to create a portable encrypted .lovodex backup.

Backups may contain your private app database and therefore may contain sensitive information that you entered into the app. Backup files are encrypted before export.

LOVODEX does not automatically upload backups to a LOVODEX server.

You decide:

• whether to create a backup;
• where to save it;
• whether to copy it to another device;
• whether to place it in a third-party storage service such as iCloud Drive, Google Drive, Dropbox or another service.

If you store a backup with a third party, that provider’s privacy and security practices apply.

You are responsible for protecting your backup password and exported backup files.

Loss of both the local encryption credentials and a usable backup may make private records unrecoverable.

LOVODEX may allow you to protect access to the app using device authentication, such as biometrics or a PIN, where supported.

Biometric matching is performed by the operating system.

LOVODEX does not receive or store your fingerprint, face geometry, or other biometric template.

LOVODEX contains authored editorial content, books, guides, illustrations and audio.

Some public audio files are streamed or downloaded from LOVODEX infrastructure.

When your device requests public web or audio content, ordinary network metadata may be processed by hosting or delivery providers, such as:

• IP address;
• date and time of the request;
• requested file or URL;
• browser or device networking information;
• technical information needed to deliver or secure the request.

Requests for public editorial or audiobook files do not include the private dating-record content stored in LOVODEX.

The LOVODEX website is hosted using infrastructure provided by third-party hosting and network providers.

Standard technical request information may be processed for purposes such as:

• delivering the website;
• security;
• abuse prevention;
• debugging;
• availability monitoring.

This may include IP addresses, request timestamps, requested pages, browser type and similar server-log information.

We do not intentionally use advertising pixels or behavioral advertising trackers (such as Meta Pixel) on lovodex.com.

We use Google Analytics to measure aggregate website traffic and usage, but it is activated only after you grant explicit consent via our cookie banner. See Section 13 for details.

If you contact LOVODEX support, we may process information you voluntarily provide, such as:

• your name;
• email address;
• device/platform information;
• app version;
• screenshots;
• diagnostic details;
• the content of your request.

Please avoid sending private dating-record information unless it is genuinely necessary to resolve your support issue.

Support information is used only to respond to requests, investigate problems, maintain the service, protect against abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

LOVODEX is distributed through third-party app stores.

Payments are handled by Apple, Google, or another authorized store provider, not directly by LOVODEX.

We do not receive your full payment-card details.

Store operators may process account, purchase, device and payment information under their own privacy policies. Apple states that developers can receive purchase and refund receipt information, while payment and App Store data remain subject to Apple’s own processing.

LOVODEX currently does not require a recurring subscription.

LOVODEX does not include third-party behavioral analytics, advertising, attribution or remote profiling SDKs.

Your operating-system or app-store provider may separately collect crash or diagnostic information depending on your device and privacy settings.

Where platform providers make diagnostic reports available to developers, those reports are governed by the platform’s systems and settings.

lovodex.com uses cookies and local browser storage to operate the website and, where you consent, to measure website usage via Google Analytics.

Essential cookies & storage

Technical or essential technologies may be used by infrastructure providers (such as Vercel or Cloudflare) where necessary to deliver, protect or operate the website, and locally in your browser to record your cookie consent choice. These do not require consent because they are strictly necessary to provide the requested service.

Google Analytics (Measurement ID: G-B637855TDY)

We use Google Analytics (gtag.js) provided by Google LLC to collect aggregated, anonymous traffic and interaction data (such as pages viewed, visit duration, referrer source, and approximate browser/device characteristics). This helps us understand how visitors use lovodex.com and improve our documentation and website experience.

Google Analytics is loaded only after you explicitly grant consent via the cookie banner on lovodex.com. If you decline or close the banner without accepting, no Google Analytics script is loaded, no Google Analytics cookies are placed, and no tracking fires.

Changing your cookie preferences

You can change or withdraw your cookie consent at any time by clicking Cookie Settings in the footer of this website. If you withdraw consent, Google Analytics tracking is deactivated immediately for subsequent interactions.

No advertising or cross-site tracking

lovodex.com does not intentionally use advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or cross-site behavioral tracking cookies. We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising.

As a reminder, your private dating records entered into the LOVODEX mobile application remain stored strictly on your device and are never transmitted to Google Analytics or accessible via web cookies.

Where the GDPR or similar laws apply, personal information that we actually receive may be processed on one or more of the following grounds:

Performance of a contract

For example, to provide support relating to a purchased copy of LOVODEX or to deliver requested website functionality.

Legitimate interests

For purposes such as:

• maintaining website and service security;
• preventing abuse;
• responding to support issues;
• maintaining technical reliability;
• protecting LOVODEX and its users.

These interests are pursued only where they are not overridden by your rights and freedoms.

Legal obligations

Where processing or retention is required by law.

Consent

Where we specifically ask for consent for an optional processing activity.

GDPR transparency rules require controllers to explain their purposes and legal bases for processing.

Depending on the service you use, technical information may be handled by providers including:

• Apple, for App Store distribution, purchases and platform services;
• Google, for Google Play distribution, purchases, platform services, and Google Analytics on lovodex.com (activated only with your consent);
• Vercel, for hosting lovodex.com;
• Cloudflare, for DNS, network infrastructure and public audio-content delivery.

These providers may operate infrastructure in multiple countries.

They act under their own contractual and privacy frameworks.

Some infrastructure providers may process technical information outside your country or the European Economic Area.

Where required by applicable law, international transfers must rely on an appropriate legal mechanism, such as an adequacy decision, contractual safeguards or another legally permitted transfer mechanism.

Private app records

Private records remain on your device until you:

• delete individual records;
• reset/wipe the app;
• uninstall the app, subject to operating-system storage behavior;
• restore another backup or otherwise remove the data.

We do not maintain a server-side copy of those private records.

Backup files

You control how long exported backup files are retained.

Support correspondence

Support correspondence may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to:

• resolve the request;
• maintain an appropriate support history;
• protect against abuse;
• comply with legal requirements.

Technical logs

Website and infrastructure logs are retained according to operational necessity, security settings, provider configurations and applicable law.

LOVODEX uses technical measures designed to protect private local data, including encrypted application storage and encrypted portable backups.

Security measures reduce risk but cannot guarantee absolute security.

You should also protect your device with appropriate operating-system security and store backup files carefully.

LOVODEX lets you keep a personal record of your own experiences.

If you enter information about another person, you are responsible for using that information lawfully and respectfully.

LOVODEX is intended as a private personal record, not as a service for publishing dossiers about other people.

Do not use LOVODEX to harass, threaten, stalk, defame, expose, or unlawfully distribute personal or intimate information about another person.

LOVODEX is intended for users aged 16 and older.

The app contains mature relationship themes and may include non-explicit references to sex, dating, breakups, alcohol and other adult topics.

If local law requires parental or guardian authorization for your use or purchase of digital services, you must obtain that authorization.

LOVODEX does not perform automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects based on your private dating records.

It does not create advertising profiles from those records.

If the GDPR applies to personal information that we actually hold, you may have rights including:

• access;
• correction;
• deletion;
• restriction of processing;
• objection to certain processing;
• data portability where applicable;
• withdrawal of consent where processing is based on consent;
• the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

These rights are established by the GDPR, including Articles 15–21.

Because LOVODEX does not receive your locally stored private dating records, we generally cannot access, retrieve, edit or delete that data for you. You control that information directly on your device.
